When you submit a quote request through our website your details will forwarded to a qualified financial adviser or insurance broker, depending on your requirements. This person or business your details are forwarded to has no connection with Equita besides a referral agreement. Equita does not employ or contract any of its own financial advisers or mortgage brokers, nor do we provide any personal financial advice.

Whenever you read the works "our network", "our insurance professions" or similar we are referring to the financial advisers and insurance brokers that we refer to. We are no referring to our own staff

Depending on the nature of your enquiry, Equita may receive a flat fee of between $2 and $60 in return for passing your details on to one of our network members. Alternatively we may receive a share of the commission received by the adviser or broker if you proceed with cover. This percentate ranges from 20% to 30% and in some cases may include a share of any trail commission. Whenever referral fees or commissions are paid to Equita your financial adviser or insurance broker must disclose these amounts to you in writing.
